Mind
Must always relate
To something
That is known
So listen well
Heed this word
When at last
You know it all
Open wide
Your inner eye
Yes
Then begin again
For never
Ever
Upon this earth
Will
Any ‘one’
Know all
But must relate their knowledge
To others
On this plane
Yes, drowning ego
In wisdom’s well
One may begin
To know
And blend and mix and swell
Pure knowledge
Blessings to us all
Until at last
With hell erased
Ego
Just a memory
The land of God
New Jerusalem
Will at last
Be found
As mankind
And his restless spirit
Will at last
Be God’s grateful guest.

IS GIVING[26]

I see failures piled high
Frustrations tears
Saturate the ground
Yet, still I smile
For life’s lessons
Must be taught
Even in this turmoil
We still can give
Yes
Lend a helping hand
By word and deed
Give solid footing
To another
And likewise
Lift ourselves
That we all
Are made free
See the truth
Of what we have
Are getting
Every single day.

The honor
Of being alive
Granted
To every living person
Young child
Old person
Every woman here
Is misused
At every turn
Taking the love
And beauty
Here about us
Turning it to hatred
And war
To accepting
And ignoring
Hatred
Disease
Starvation
In the name of society
Hardening us
To the natural caring
Born
Into each one of us
A blessing
From above
What shall we cry
When
He has had enough
Bids us
Pay the price
For the sacrilege
We commit
Each day
On our fellow man.
